What counts as an event?▾
An event is a single AI Action Event: one logged behavior primitive (READ, TRANSFORM, WRITE, CALL, STORE, or ROUTE). A typical AI agent call generates 3 to 10 events depending on complexity. We price per event, not per trace, because every event is what you actually do.
How is the bill calculated for Starter and Professional?▾
Platform fee + per-event from event 1. On Starter, you pay $199/mo + $0.0005 per event for the first 1M events. Past 1M, overage kicks in at $0.00075/event. On Professional, $599/mo + $0.0003 per event for the first 5M, then $0.00045 past 5M. Example: 2M events on Starter = $199 + 1M × $0.0005 + 1M × $0.00075 = $1,449/month. At 2M events, Pro is cheaper at $1,199.
Can I upgrade or downgrade anytime?▾
Yes. You can change your plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
What happens if I exceed my tier's volume threshold?▾
On Starter and Professional, you keep going. Any events past your tier's threshold are billed at the overage rate (1.5x the base per-event rate). On Free, we stop accepting new events once you reach 50,000 for the month, and you're never billed. Either way, we notify you at 80% and 100% of your threshold so you can decide whether to upgrade.
How do I try Aegara without paying?▾
Request access to the Free tier. 50,000 events per month, no credit card, no trial timer. It includes the full event capture pipeline (six primitives, trace reconstruction, all four integration paths) and three preset monitoring rules. When you're ready, upgrade to Starter or Professional. Your data carries over.
What's the design partner program?▾
For the first 3 to 5 design partners, we offer Enterprise-level access free for a 3-month term in exchange for direct product feedback and a reference. At the end of the term, partners port to Starter, Professional, or Enterprise based on their usage. Get in touch if you'd like to be considered.
Is my data secure?▾
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit and isolated per organization. Credentials and access keys can be revoked instantly, and we never sell or share your data. Just as important, Aegara monitors behavior, not content. We never read or store your prompts or responses. With our SDK, LangChain, and Direct API integrations, that content never reaches our servers.
